Your privacy is very important to us. This privacy statement describes the privacy practices for dartsconnects.org. This statement applies only to information collected by this website.

Who we are:

DARTS is a 501(c)(3) organization serving older adults (seniors) and their loved ones in and around Dakota County, Minnesota, USA.

What we do:

We offer services and assistance that makes it easier for seniors to stay in the home of their choice as long as possible. Services provided by our volunteers and staff include indoor and outdoor chores, home repairs and caregiving resources.

Who we serve:

DARTS is located in West Saint Paul, Minnesota serving clients in Dakota County and surrounding areas.

Why do we collect your information?

To better serve your needs, we review information collected to match clients with available services and allocate resources. We also use information collected for marketing and fundraising efforts.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contact from you, such as name, phone number, email address, mailing address, information on services of interest.

We do not collect personal non-public information like Social Security Number or private medical information. Please do not release such information anywhere on our website.

The information we collect is only available if you opt-in for questions or contact at DARTS. Approximately every quarter, we update our two main email newsletters (President’s Newsletter and DARTS Top 5) with new and interested volunteers, clients, and donors.

DARTS does not share any information with outside agencies. However, if the law compels DARTS to disclose personal information, we are obligated to comply with such orders.

Your Access to and Control Over Information

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number provided on our website:

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers on which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
