DARTS offers a variety of activities, seminars, and direct support to enrich the aging process. Take a look below at some of the opportunities available!
Often the losses we endure as we age (loss of loved ones, loss of independence) can lead to feelings of loneliness, sadness, frustration and anxiousness. Gone unattended, these feelings can lead to depression.
The PEARLS program can teach you valuable skills to manage these unpleasant feelings and improve your
quality of life. You will receive 6 – 8 in-home sessions with a trained facilitator over 4 – 5 months to help you manage feelings of sadness, loneliness, or frustration. Gain the tools for embracing life!
Must be age 60+ to qualify for this free program.
PEARLS is funded in part under an award with Trellis as part of the Older Americans Act.
Your home should be a place where you feel safe, comfortable, and confident. With our Home Wellness Exploration, you’ll meet with a Home Repairs Specialist and a Healthy Aging Specialist to explore options for making your home as accessible and supportive as possible.
During this personalized visit, we’ll work together to:
• Assess your home for potential safety and accessibility improvements.
• Identify practical strategies and modifications to enhance mobility and comfort.
• Provide guidance on resources or funding options for home modifications.
Whether it’s simple adjustments like grab bars or larger projects to improve accessibility, we’re here to help you stay in the home you love for as long as possible.
If you or a loved one could benefit from a safer, more accessible living space, call today at 651-455-1560 to learn more or schedule a visit. Take the first step toward peace of mind and continued independence!
