Board members are committed to the mission, vision and values of DARTS and provide perspectives from their personal and professional backgrounds to provide strategic insight. This volunteer governing body attends five board meetings and five committee meetings annually, and is an advocate for DARTS mission. Typical board members spend 40-60 hours annually on board activities.
DARTS recruits directors with diverse experiences and skillsets who represent the communities and people we serve. We are particularly interested in candidates who can bring experience in business development, public relations, senior housing, or contract law, as well as those who bring lived experiences related to the issues addressed by DARTS. DARTS is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to our board members reflecting the diversity of our communities and staff.
Please contact Ann Bailey, DARTS President, to learn more details about the board member role.
